Visit the MVHS web site and read the transcription of the agreement between Robert Montgomery and John Struthers.  The last section on the second page describes the boundaries of the land.  Try describing a piece of land—the school property or the playground—in the same way, by using landmarks.  Do you think you could find the landmarks for Struthers’ land today?
