Using a copy of the 1897 Police Ledger, make a chart showing number of arrests per day for this week.  Use a web site like http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/ to generate a calendar for the year 1897, and add days of the week to your chart.  Which days had the most arrests?

Make a list of the kinds of charges.  What were people most frequently arrested for?

Make a bar graft showing how many arrests each officer made.  Which officer made the most arrests?  Who made the least?

Could you put any of this information into a pie chart?  How would you do it?
