Research the history of your library.  When was it built?  Who paid for it? Is it part of a library system?

Is there a park or playground near your home or school?  Why is it there?  Who maintains it?

Look up ‘amenities’ and compile a list of them.  What amenities do you value most? Which could you live without?  Vote on them and make a list from most important to least important.
