  The Mahoning Valley Historical Society made a commitment in 2005 to advocate for the preservation of historic structures and properties in Mahoning and Trumbull Counties.  The Historic Preservation Awards Program recognizes those that have taken the lead in preserving buildings, neighborhoods, landmarks and those individuals whose careers focus on Historic Preservation and adaptive reuse.

Application forms are available in late February/early March with a March 31st deadline.  Awards are announced in May and awarded at the Historical Society's annual meeting in June.
